Rome through a lens through a lens
I'm sure this has been done before but oh well. I have just got back from a trip to Italy to visit my lovely friend Julie and whilst there I was in Rome for a few days. I started off by taking all the same touristy photos and it suddenly dawned on me that everyone who visits Rome will have the same photos of the same buildings which I thought was pretty sad, unless obviously they had people to pose in the photos for them! As I was on my own in the daytime I decided to make it a bit more interesting/a bit of a challenge and take photos of people taking photos of people in front of the tourist spots to create a strange collection of my own holiday snaps. I wonder if this is already a craze and I am very 2000 and late OR maybe we can start a new fad!

Tangible
Last year I was e-mailed by Gestalten (an international book publisher) and asked if I would like to be featured in their new book 'Tangible' which is a follow up of their amazing book 'Tactile'. Obvioulsy I was over the moon to be asked and immediately said yes and just last week it was delivered. A big thank you to Matthias and Julian for this oppurtunity and for featuring my degree show poster, self promotion poster and poster book.

Error 404
Due to an increased amount of traffic from posting my work up on a blog my website has exceeded its bandwith after two top ups! I am working on moving the site to a differnet server which will happen over the next week, but until then if it goes down again it will be down until I do the switch. Thanks for your visits and nice e-mails!

New site design
As you may have aready noticed I have had a big site re-design and its all gone a bit dark and big (i may need to adjust this if its too big for your screens). I thought with it being 2009 it was worth sprucing up the old homestead, also what with working and not being able to do as much work for myself I would be updating the site a little differently to how I would do at uni and this way seems more appropriate. So, there is no new work for now but I will be working on a few things of my own and a few collaborations are in the pipeline. I have back logged a few of the news posts which appear below in the 'latest news' section. Please excuse any errors or missing links over the next few days whilst I fix the bugs!

YCN 08/09
I have been featured in the new YCN 08/09 Book. I recieved my copy this morning and found out that two of the trees I designed for the YCN forest are on the front cover (which i a bonus as I was in such a rush making and sending them off that I forgot to take photos myself!). A big thank you to Alex Ostrowski for this and well done to the other bath spa graduates for getting featured.

I am (untitled) london
After doing a four week placement at digital agency (untitled) london I have been offered and accepted a job as part of the creative team. My demands of a company car and mahogany desk were rejected but at least I was given this week off to sort some things out and have a bit of r&r before working for the next 40 years. Thanks very very much to Rick and Rob for giving me this opportunity!

First placement
I have just finished my first week of a four week placement at digital agency (untitled) london which is based in Aldgate East, London. I have been in contact with a few digital agencies in the city and hope to carry out a few to get a feel for different agencies. Things are going well at (untitled) and although it may not look like it below, I do more than make the tea.

Graduation
After 3 amazing years studying graphic design at Bath Spa School of Art & Design I have graduated! Despite all the years above us saying how quick it would go I didn't believe it until it was all over. Now its time to look for something to do in the grown-up land.
